I've been making videos for over a decade and it all started long before weddings; short films and personal projects have always been something I loved doing quietly alongside my photography. Then a photographer friend reached out - a couple that booked her for their wedding was looking for someone whose style matched a video she'd seen of mine. They booked me, I flew to the Netherlands, and we documented their wedding together.

I absolutely loved it and it was beautiful, and ever since then I've been slowly starting to offer video alongside photography, not as an upsell or a package filler, but because I genuinely believe in what a wedding film can be when it's made with care.

What kind of film I make

For couples who want a wedding film that feels like a heartfelt home video, something nostalgic, timeless, and beautifully real, I might have just what you've been looking for.

I'm not interested in over-produced films with dramatic music and slow-motion confetti. What I make is quieter than that and it can be a look on your parents' faces when they see you, the way your person laughs when they're nervous, followed by the sound of a ceremony by the sea. The real texture of a day that actually happened.

Your wedding film should feel authentic to you and it should preserve the fleeting, genuine moments of your day and pull you right back into them when you watch it. Not a highlight reel of posed perfection, but something that actually feels like you are there. Not everyone connects with that. But when someone does, they love it.

Video as an add-on to photography

When I'm shooting photos, my partner handles video, and I edit both by myself.

That might sound simple, but it changes a lot about how the day runs. There's no tension between the two separate crews about who stands where during the ceremony. We've been working together long enough that we move instinctively; you won't feel managed, and your guests won't notice us at all.

The photos and the film also come from the same sensibility, and they feel like they belong together because they actually do. Video is also available as a standalone booking or as an add-on to photography.

What's included

I offer a highlight film of up to 20 minutes, carefully edited, set to music that suits you. I don't offer full ceremony recordings, as a static wide shot of a ceremony rarely gets watched, but a crafted film does.

Is video right for you?

Honestly, it's up to you. I'll never tell you that you need it.

What I will say is that most couples who skip video don't feel it on the day. They feel it later, when recollecting the day with family and friends, or when they catch themselves watching someone else's wedding film thinking how it would be if they had one. It's easy to deprioritise in the budget and impossible to undo afterwards.

If it calls to you, that's probably your answer ☺️

Getting married in Croatia?

I'm based in Rijeka and cover weddings across Istria, Dalmatia, Kvarner, and destination weddings throughout the EU and UK. Croatia is a genuinely beautiful place to get married and to film. The light, the stone, the sea, the sound of it all. It translates to film in a way that's hard to describe until you see it.

If you're planning a wedding here and you're curious about having photo and video covered, I'd love to hear from you.
